Y is for Yardwork #atozchallenge

 

Then there was the time Ollie got into mama’s prized flower bed.  All the other flowers were fair game but he couldn’t help himself.  There’s flowers tasted best and he ate most of them to the stems.

Mamma wasn’t happy.

As a result of his floral feasting Ollie was relegated to yard work and raking leaves.  It was supposed to be a play day but mamma was pretty mad.  Ollie doesn’t like raking leaves.  He loves how they make the years crunchy to walk on and he likes how the meadow looks in orange and brown.   Plus raking gives him blisters.  Mamma thought he needed the lesson that he couldn’t just do as he pleased.

There was just one problem.

Ollie loves jumping in a fresh raked pile of leaves.
