Q is for Quilt #atozchallenge

 

Ollie has a favorite quilt he likes to curl up into.  His Granma made it for him a long time ago.  She knit it in autumn colors of brown and yellow and orange so he can pull it out when the weather gets crispy and wrap himself up.

Ollie watches tv and plays his video games curled up in Granma’s quilt.  He wears it around the house like a cape.  When he gets a cold he lies around in it all day in his feetie pajamas and has chicken soup and orange juice.  He sleeps in his quilt with his other blankets and his stuffed animals.

In the warm weather Ollie sits on his quilt in the meadow.  In the rain he wraps his quilt around himself and looks out the window at the drops.

Granma’s quilt is one of Ollie’s favorite places to be.  In it, he feels loved and warm and safe.
