P is for Pizza Sea Monster #atozchallenge

Out on the ocean, the Daring Pirate Captain R’Ollando and his crew are in search of treasure, and epic sea battle or just possibly lunch.

Without warning there was a rumble and a bubbling beside them.  From the depths rose the mythical mighty Pepperoni Pizza Sea Monster.  The squabs on deck were trembling.  The dashing captain was shaking.  They set out to find lunch and now they feared they may become lunch.

What did pizza sea monsters eat, anyway?  Certainly not pizza.  Maybe they ate sandwiches or tacos.  Maybe they ate pirates?   Whatever it was, the crew of the SS Jolly Ollie wasn’t sticking around to find out.  There was only one problem, the SS Jolly Ollie couldn’t outrun a sea monster.  The giant pepperoni captured the pirates in one cheesy tentacle.

It looked like they were about to be the latest to-go meal at sea.

What could be done?  How would our heroes escape?  Will they ever find their own lunch and would they never eat pizza again?
