M is for Moonwater Meadow, where Ollie lives #atozchallenge

Even rainy days are fun in Moonwater Meadow

There’s a special place between the currents of your imagination way out at the edge of your perception.  A place far away from the harsh world we call home.  A place with seasons and holidays and friends and peacefulness (if you discount the occasional rocket test or pirate invasion).

Ollie lives in this place with his mama – called Moonwater Meadow.  You don’t need a map or to be pure of heart to find it.  You just need to want to find that place where inner child would love to be.  It’s a place where you can be what you dreamed as a child, play to your heart’s content and dance and sing.  There are vast rolling fields and thick forests, babbling streams and majestic mountains.  There are beaches and a deep blue ocean with islands for exploring in the distance.  There are snowy fields for snowball fights and forts.  There are zillions of stars in the night sky greeting and inviting you to explore and dream.  It’s a perfect place to relax or have a rousing adventure.  We supply the pirate hats.

You may find a friendly sleeping dragon in the meadow.

All Ollie’s friends live there, too.  Ticklebit, Artemouse, Gordon, Spoon and the Bearly Brothers; Clownley Clown (because he’s always playing jokes) and Bearly There Bear (because he’s not that bright).

The treehouse where Ollie hatches his schemes.

He has a clubhouse in TripleTrunk tree and an observatory on SeeTheStars Hill.  He also has a workshop called  The Imaginarium disguised as an old barn.  Ollie and his friends have parties in the treehouse and in the fields where the libation of choice is Raspberry Root Beer.

There’s always some form of mischief going on that you’d be happy to be a part of because it’s always fun.  Unless you don’t like wearing food.  It usually ends up that way.  If you’d like to visit, we are always accessible.  Just relax and remember when you had no responsibility, no mortgage or taxes and no strife.  Remember when the most important thing you had to do all day was have a cookie and some iced tea.  We don’t do strife.  We do adventure (as long as it isn’t a school night).
