Happy Star Wars Day 2018!

 

Ahoy pals!

Like many of you, I’m too young to have seen the original Star Wars movies on the big screen.  However, the TV in my house is pretty big so does that count?  Haw!

Today my friends and I will be at my house where we’ll watch as many Star Wars movies as we can without falling over.  There will be lots of popcorn and root beer floats.  You can come, too if you want but we may run late.  Tomorrow isn’t a school day so I have permission from mamma.

We were trying to decide on who will wear what costume but that caused all kinds of problems.  We settled on dressing any way we wanted .  Some of us *cough* will be planning multiple costume changes!

I made Luke’s light saber out of a tin can, batteries and some glowing stuff I found on the sidewalk.  So far it’s been pretty stable if not a little bent.

 

I also made Han Solo’s blaster.  It fires bits of boiled broccoli.  My friends call it the Fart Blaster.  It beats patching holes and blaster marks though!

Anyways, I hope you and your friends have a good Star Wars Day and do fun things in fun costumes  If you have nothing to do later then come by.  We’ll be having Jawa flavored pizza!  Haw!  Just kidding.
