Glitter Dance Party!

Ollie and friends boogie down ad Glitter Dance Party Day

Ahoy friends! What’s more fun than lots of pizza?

A glitter dance party!!

Of course, aside from loud music and lights you need a glitter cannon. We tried to find one but Mama wouldn’t let me use her credit card. We mad one instead. In fact, we made two!

A secret invention enters the picture…

I can’t tell you how we made them though because we’re still waiting on the patent and we don’t know what to call it. Glitter Cannon seems too boring. Maybe Glitter Blaster X2K. Stuff with numbers sounds all top secret and stuff.

Anyway, we were going to have it out in the Meadow but then it rained. Then we thought about my house until Mama gave me that look she has when she doesn’t want to spend three days cleaning glitter off the couch.

We decided on the observatory. It has a nice big room and a place to hang that mirrored disco ball thingy. It’s also easier to get pizza cheese off the floor when there;s no rug to worry about.

Speaking of pizza, Moonwater Pizza delivered a bunch of different pizzas and calzones. We also got lots of chips and stuff. Chips on pizza is really fun. have you ever tried that? Also Swedish fish candy but not with chips. That’s just crazy.

Everything was going fine until I got a little close to the Glitter Blaster X2K units (patent pending). It kind of went off in my face. Have you ever been riding in your bicycle and suddenly inhaled a bug? Like that only a lot of little bugs. In your face. All at once. That wasn’t fun. Also, it took two days to get it all out of my nose. I was sneezing glitter everywhere. Everyone thought that was really funny. Even Mama. Haw!

Who is that strange man by the potato chips?

We had a special visitor as you can see from the picture. We can’t be sure but we think it was Tom Cruise.* He danced kinda silly and all over the place. Then he left when we ran out of chips.

The party went off without a hitch. That is, except for the observatory custodian who is still cleaning glitter our of the Really Rather Large Telescope…
