Happy Valentine’s Day Friends!
It’s Valentine’s Day in Moonwater Meadow!
It’s also Valentine’s Day where you are, too. In some places it’s probably just Thursday and that’s boring.
For adults, Valentine’s Day means flowers, candy, a sappy card and expensive dinners where you could get the same meal for half that price a day before or after.
For love-struck teenagers it means a hormone-fueled pimple outbreak just as you’re about to stutter/hyperventilate/declare your love for that special someone in math class who wonders if you’re having a seizure.
For children it’s a day of silly handmade cards, heart-shaped everything crafts, candies, pizza parties and pink slime. Yes, I said pink slime. Children of the Meadow and probably children in your house love all things icky and slimy. Also puppets are big. In our case, animatronic homemade robot overlords with a craving for WD-40. And hug-o-grams.
If you think about it, Valentine’s day seems much more fun for children than teens or adults. Unless of course, you’re the one responsible for getting gobs of slime off cat fur…
So wherever you are and whatever you’re doing, we here at *Moonwater Pizza and Edible Slime * wish you a very Happy Valentine’s Day!
